Moneypenny and Claude Code Remote Control

Both let you reach coding agents running on your own machine from a phone or browser. Remote Control is Anthropic's way to continue a Claude Code session elsewhere. Moneypenny is a workspace for a team of agents, Claude and others, on your machines.

Where Remote Control is the better choice

It's included with your Claude plan. Remote Control comes with Pro, Max, Ultra, Team and Enterprise plans at no extra cost. Moneypenny is a separate subscription, from $10 a month.
It's built into Claude Code. Run /remote-control in a session, or claude remote-control for a server that serves many sessions, optionally each in its own worktree, and continue in the Claude app or at claude.ai/code. Nothing else to install.
Terminal and phone at once. An interactive session stays in sync between your terminal and your devices.
Organisation controls. Team and Enterprise owners can turn it on or off and require trusted devices.

Where Moneypenny is different

More than one agent. Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, each on its own subscription, in the same workspace, and you can switch a chat between them.
Persistent bots. Named bots with their own instructions, memory, notebook, browser and terminal, which you @ into any chat and which discuss with each other.
Teams of chats. Factories turn one goal into many coding chats, coordinated by a bot.
Review and proof. Plannotator plan review, recorded browser tests as result cards, diffs and pull requests from the chat.
Runs as a service. The connector runs in the background under systemd or launchd, so there's no terminal to keep open.
Schedules and notes. Prompts on a timetable, and a Notes board your agents read and update.
