Schedules and notifications
Agents can start work on a timetable and tell you when they are done, so you don't have to keep the app open.
Schedules
Schedules runs a prompt by itself at a time of day, every day or on chosen weekdays, on your machine's clock. Each schedule does one of three things:
- starts a new coding chat in a project;
- continues one chat, queued behind a turn that is still working;
- asks a bot.
The agent, model and permissions are saved with the schedule. Run now runs it at once without moving the timetable. A run more than ten minutes late, because the machine was off or asleep, is skipped and shown as missed rather than starting at an hour nobody chose.
Notifications
Turn on Notifications in the account menu on each device. You are notified when:
- a chat's agent finishes or fails;
- a bot replies;
- a scheduled run is missed or cannot start.
Stopping a turn yourself sends nothing. Tapping a notification opens that chat on the machine it came from. On iPhone and iPad, notifications reach only the app added to the Home Screen; see using it on an iPad or phone.
The Mac app shows notifications natively too.
